The best thing Obama has done for the economy is picking his cabinet. Since they have been exposed and been forced to pay their darn taxes, it has helped the economy MUCH more than the
3 trillion dollar budget he is proposing.
To give you an idea of how much money a trillion dollars is, consider this. A stack of $1,000 bills would be 2 feet tall to equal a million dollars. A billion dollars in thousand dollar bills would be as tall as the Empire State Building and a trillion dollars would stretch 200 miles. And they are looking at a 600 mile budget of thousand dollar bills. I wonder how much PORK is in it - over half I'm sure.

Sphincter Goes Left
"Just so I can get re-elected, I'm going to change parties and go with the leftists". Thus was said by Alarm Sphincter just the other day when he realized that he would probably not get re-elected as a Republican because of his mostly left-wing stands.
I think that the fine folks in Pennsylvania should reward this type of personal preference as a chance to send him home for good. Five terms in the Senate is way to long. He has obviously lost touch with the people who kept electing him, and now it is time for a change.

Torture during the Bush administration
Water boarding, using phobias, sleep deprivation, etc. If any of these tactics prevented just one American from being killed, wounded, scared, scratched, scraped, or hurt in any way, then as far as I am concerned, the people who carried out these tactics should get medals.
If the Oboma-ites get their way and prosecute some of these people for what they did years ago, then the US has sank to a new low. We're now going to possibly send to jail, the people who were trying to keep us all safe. Do you think our enemies care if they use torture? Right, and if you believe that, you should not be allowed to breed.
There are too many other more important matters to worry about, but no, we have to go after folks who were keeping us safe. If congree wants to keep us safe, they should protect us when we leave home and go shopping and hopefully do not get mugged in the parking lot.

Pirate Problem
I wonder if the current administration will have the guts to go into Somalia and remedy the current pirate situation? My guess would be - NO. Why not. Isn't it a lawless country now?
These ideas have probably been discussed somewhere, but; 1) why not use the un-manned armed drones to patrol the sea, 2) set up "bait ships" for the pirates to attack that are manned by military personnel. Imagine what a surprise that would be . . . 3) arm the crew with weapons so that they can defend themselves, and 4) blast any small vessel that comes near the tanker, etc.
Hillary has a four point solution?? to the problem, but as of 3:30pm CDT, 4-16-09, I have not heard it. Hope it does not include flowers or chocolate.
